Urban Roots is a small farm on the outskirts of East Austin. The organization helps the Austin youth build leadership and communication skills through sustainable agriculture. A select number of applicants are chosen to participate in the program, and their lives are changed as they cultivate healthy foods as well as well as responsibility and patience.
