A Racial Divide in Texas | Spring 2015                                                              
Collaborated with a team of Reporting Texas reporters to produce an investigative report published in The Dallas Morning News in May 2015.
Organized and analyzed data comparing the number of minority officers employed by Texas law enforcement agencies to the racial demographics of their corresponding communities.
Composed questions and interviewed sources to be quoted in the story.
Worked on background research and fact checking.
The Center for Students in Recovery | Fall 2013
Independently coordinated, conducted, filmed, and edited a short documentary depicting a student’s journey to overcome alcoholism with the support of the Center for Students in Recovery at the University of Texas Austin.
Sustainable Agriculture for a Sustainable World | Spring 2011
Researched and collected information comparing American industrial farming methods to those of Austin’s local, sustainable farms under the supervision of Professor Robert Jensen.

Analyzed data from EPA and USDA reports, interviewed Austin’s local farmers, community members, and affiliated organizations, from which I drafted a 10 page report comparing the repercussions of industrial agriculture to those of sustainable farming.
